Lima First Assembly of God

Pastor Randy Davis is in his ninth year as Senior Pastor of Lima First Assembly. Prior to coming to Lima, he served as an Associate Pastor for 8 years at Highway Tabernacle in Youngstown, OH, five of those years as Youth Pastor. He also served 4 years as Youth Pastor in Frankfort, KY, and almost two years in his home state of Arkansas.

 

Outside of church ministries, Pastor has involved himself in many areas of sports ministries through the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. He is currently serving in his sixth year as team chaplain for the Ohio Northern University football team. He has also worked with Lima Senior High Football, and the Columbus Destroyers Arena football team.

 

Pastor believes we have a responsibility to use our gifts & talents to serve our God and our community. His life’s verse is Matthew 24:36-40 which says we are to "Love God and Love Others." If we will involve ourselves with those two things, everything else will take care of itself.

 

 

 

He is assisted in ministry and life by his wife of 20 years, Maressa, his son Bryden - 16, and his daughter Aubren - 15.  Pastor loves to play golf, ride motorcycles, and most of all, spend time with his family. Due to the hectic lifestyle of his young family, he understands the demands on the family. He uses that experience to preach messages of relevance to deal with the real issues. His humor and passion for God and people make his messages easy to listen to, understand and hopefully easier to apply.

   

His goal is to grow people into what God intended, to do God's work.
