Pastor Tom Golden is excited to be back home to serve in his home church of Lima First Assembly of God! Before coming back home, Pastor Tom served in Houston, Texas as a youth pastor, and in two churches in Ohio as lead pastor. Pastor Tom says his new role as associate pastor here at Lima First feels like a dream come true. He is excited to be a part of what God is doing in Lima!
Just for the fun of it, Pastor Tom enjoys riding motorcycles, camping and family activities with his wife Krista, son Levi, and daughter Molly. Tom and Krista were married in '98 and have enjoyed the years of marriage and ministry since then. Tom and Krista met at a very young age, they grew up down the road from each other; they're both graduates of Allen East High School.
If there's one passion that Tom has for the church, it is to see a church that captivates people's attention with Christ's love, joy, grace and mercy. There is nothing like a church that sees the need of its community and meets that need with intentionality. Lima First Assembly of God is a church that is focused on reaching upward in worship, outward in kindness, remaining real and communicating a relevant message to your family!
Tom's hope is to lead others in being doers of the Word, not just hearers. James 1:22.
